We’re setting the Table for a family of faith that reflects the diversity of our city and God’s Kingdom!
Table Church: A Multi-Ethnic Family of Faith is a new church forming in the Lyman, Duncan and Wellford community of Upstate South Carolina. Currently in the pre-launch season of gathering people and shaping the shared life of Table Church, we anticipate a grand opening in early 2026! We are a part of The Wesleyan Church- a movement whose roots developed in the Abolitionist Movement and who remains committed to seeing God’s justice lived out in personal and social renewal.

Why does multi-ethnic church matter?
In short?
God intended it.
Sin broke it.
Jesus fixed it.
The Kingdom renews it.
So let’s live it!
In a world shadowed by ethnic division, God made a promise to a man named Abraham that one day he would have a diverse family of faith, drawn from all nations. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, the Church was born in the light of ethnic diversity. This new community of faith began to pursue the ways and words of Jesus so that men and women, rich and poor, slaves and freedmen, Jews, Gentiles and barbarians were seen as FAMILY.
This new family gathered to share life and faith in two places: at THE Table, where they shared the broken body and shed blood of Jesus, and at THEIR tables where they shared their broken, but redeemed lives. When God’s Kingdom comes in its fullness, this family- from across the ages- will gather around God’s throne as a multitude that no one can count, drawn from every nation, every tribe, every people and every language. In anticipation of that day, and in step with our Wesleyan heritage of abolitionism, equality and justice for the oppressed, Table Church looks to intentionally reflect the diversity of our city, in order to better reflect the diversity of God’s Kingdom!
